Feminine Winter Style

During these cold winter months, it’s easy to get stuck in a clothes rut rotating between your favorite sweaters over and over again. I’m completely guilty of wearing one of my favorite grey sweaters at least twice a week. When I was browsing  Red Dress boutique the other day, I came across this cozy dusty rose colored cardigan, I figured it was just the piece I needed to get me out of my neutral sweater slump.

This winter has absolutely been one of the most horrifyingly cold winters I’ve experienced. I can’t imagine living anywhere that is consistently this cold throughout winter. I get now why “snowbirds” travel south for the winter to enjoy the warmth all year long, this cold is brutal! To brighten up my spirits, I have been trying to add subtle pops of color to my wardrobe: like with this feminine pink cardigan. It’s not too bright to offend passerby’s, but just punchy enough for them to take notice.

The best thing about it is that it helps me take my classic white button down and jeans combination and turns it into a feminine winter style that can be worn well into Spring. With the addition of a pink scarf, fur hood jacket and some gold heeled booties, this outfit is an instant winter classic.
