It’s time to Deck the Halls and dust off the tinsel. December 1st means we guiltlessly get to throw on the “Yule Log” channel tucked away in the extended cable package you bought and pour some spiced rum in eggnog because Christmas is right around the corner!
I absolutely love decorating my home for Christmas; it gives me every reason to fill every corner with plaid and tartan trimmings. The Home Depot challenged me to participate in their Holiday Style Challenge to decorate my dining area for the Holidays, so I poured some bourbon, put on my favorite Christmas tune, and went to work on doing just that!
I wanted to decorate my main living area for the Challenge. Since a lot of my time revolves around cooking and hanging out with friends, the dining area was the most natural place to start to decorate. I have a more open concept living area than most, making my dining area and my kitchen one in the same with a little nook off the side perfect for a bar cart featuring your favorite winter spirit.
I don’t want to spoil the entire thing just yet, so head over to The Home Depot Holiday Style Challenge on their Blog here, to see how my entire place came together.
Love, Love, Love!!! Santa is so proud you’ve got the holiday spirit spot on!!!
