I love collaborating with local individuals and brands through thoughtful storytelling, design and editorial campaigns. As a class of Southern bloggers, I specialize in fashion, food, lifestyle, travel and decor styling that emphasizes Southern traditions and showcases Southern heritage. I work tirelessly outside of my full-time job to produce the best work for my clients and to promote your brand with thoughtfully curated design and authenticity. I have, in 2017 of blogging, had the pleasure of working with Sequoia Grove Winery, Kinross Cashmere, Luna Nuda Wines, Earth Fare, Zero George Street, Beaufort SC CVB, Southeast Toyota Dealers, Neely & Chloe, Organic Girl, and Points North Magazine just to name a few. So please, send me an email and I look forward to working with you!
I love supporting my community (both online and locally in Atlanta and the SouthEast) of creatives and I often promote items on my blog and via social media. I receive a lot of requests to review products, and style c/o clothing. I love interacting with brands and if you would like to send me something, please email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) to find out my mailing address. However, just sending me a product does not guarantee that I will post about it without officially contracting with me as I receive too many requests to adequately post about everyone. I appreciate everything that I receive in the mail and will typically try to give some sort of shout-out via social media if I can.
By visiting DarlingDownSouth.com you are consenting to our disclosure policy.
Posts on Darling Down South may contain affiliate links and gifted items on occasion. This means that I could earn a commission if you click on a link that redirects you to a retailer’s online website. I utilize RewardStyle, Skimlinks and the ShopStyle affiliate network across my blog and Instagram. However, it is my utmost objective to only promote and link to things and brands that I have already purchased will purchase or support.
How does this affect you?
Well, the great thing is, it doesn’t! In exchange for me linking to my shirt/ dress/ shoes/ etc in a post, an affiliate company stores a cookie in your web browser. This cookie tracks when you make a purchase from the item, and I receive a small commission. Affiliate marketing is one way for me to cut down on the sponsored posts so that I can maintain net operating costs throughout the year when producing top quality content for you.
Another way for me to cover my operating costs is by partnering with select brands that are a good fit for my lifestyle and that promote the interests of the Darling Down South brand. Brands will typically pay me to write a story about them but only after they have proven to align with the Darling Down South mission. This being said, sponsored posts and gifted items will never change my opinion and it is my goal to only review things honestly and thoughtfully.
